Privacy Policy

BabyGram ("we", "our", or "us") is a baby activity tracking app for parents and caregivers. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

We do not collect location data, payment card details, photos, contacts, or browsing history.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide and sync baby activity logs across your devices
To enable shared access with co-caretakers you invite
To manage your account and subscription
To send activity notifications (only if you enable them)
To export your data as a CSV file on your request

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sell it to any third party.

3. Third-Party Services

BabyGram uses the following third-party services:

Firebase (Google) — authentication, cloud database, and push notifications. Firebase Privacy Policy

Google Play Billing — payment processing. Payment card details are handled entirely by Google and never seen by us. Google Payments Privacy Notice

4. Data Sharing

Your data is never sold. It is only shared in these cases:

Co-caretakers you invite — baby profiles and activity logs are visible to users you explicitly invite to share a baby profile.
Service providers — Firebase and RevenueCat process data on our behalf as described above.
Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect the safety of users.

5. Children's Privacy

BabyGram is designed for use by parents and caregivers (adults). The app is not directed at children under 13. While the app records data about infants and young children (activity logs, profiles), all accounts are created and managed by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — including baby profiles and activity logs — is permanently and immediately deleted from our servers.

7. Your Rights

Access & export — you can export all your activity data as a CSV file from the Settings screen in the app.
Correction — you can edit your display name and baby profile details at any time within the app.
Deletion — you can delete your account and all data instantly from the app (Profile → Delete Account), or by submitting a deletion request.

8. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in Firebase Firestore with access rules that restrict each user to their own data. Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth, supporting Sign in with Google and Sign in with Apple.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
